We are Create Yourself Calm - hosting workshops and combining art and creativity with wellbeing, mindfulness and self-care tips so you can....Create Yourself Calm.

Who is this for?

Our workshops are aimed at anyone from beginners to more experienced creatives. You just need to be prepared to relax and enjoy the process of creating.Our workshops run all year round in a range of venues. Workshops always include a drink and small refreshment.

Who are we?

We are an art teacher and counsellor who share a passion for the crossover between creativity and self-care. We're here to help you make the most of your me-time.

What happens on the day?

We'll provide you with a starting point to get creative, linked to our mindful moment and let you explore the materials and to enjoy the process. You may end up painting, cutting, collaging or doodling - there are no rules!

In this session we'll be exploring creating pages for an art journal. Don't worry if you're a beginner as we have some great tricks for producing some colourful creative work and also suitable to more experienced creatives to try something new and experiment. There is the option to purchase an art journal to take home with continue your journal at home as we'll also be providing suggestions on what to add to your pages. If you attended the session in October, this will be different to the session with more ideas for your art journal.

The main aim is to enjoy the process and to forget about organising home life/work/what to cook for dinner etc etc. for a couple of hours.The workshop will run for 2 hours where we will intersperse the time with mindfulness and creative activities at a relaxed pace.

All materials are provided plus hot drinks and refreshments will be included.

Nearby parking available at the High Street Car Park in Billericay with a short 4 minute walk to the venue.

In this session you will create a simple pages for an art journal using different papers, doodles and materials. We'll provide everything you need so you can enjoy and unwind.
