Creative Journalling- starting the New Year with intention.

Join us for a fun and inspiring event where we will explore the power of journalling to set intentions for the New Year. Whether you're a seasoned journaler or new to the practice, this workshop is perfect for anyone looking to kickstart their year with creativity and purpose. Located at the Ash Tree, NR1 4JX, our cozy space is the perfect setting to dive into self-reflection and goal-setting. Come connect with like-minded individuals and leave feeling motivated and ready to take on the year ahead. We can't wait to see you there!

I am offering a series of four workshops to help you explore your emotions through meditation and creative processes. Each session is designed as an individual workshop that could be attended as a single session but they are all linked for those who would like to start the New Year by learning about themselves more deeply.

All materials will be provided but you're welcome to bring your journals.

Week one 7/01/25

Connecting to self: creating a safe space.

Use different techniques to make a small postcard as a reminder of your safe place.

Week two 14/01/25

Reflecting on the past year: creative writing.

We will use different prompts to write and reflect on the past year, creating poetry from existing texts.

Week three 21/01/25

Connecting to others as a way to connect to self.

Learn how to look for the beauty in yourself and others. We will use simple drawing exercises to explore this subject. Please bring a small mirror.

Week four 28/01/25

Setting intentions: manifestations boards.

We will use the collage technique to make a motivational board which will help you feel more confident and empowered to step into the New Year!
