If you keep postponing what you want, working, caretaking, or numbing instead. A Valentine’s Eve ritual to meet creative desire safely.About this Event
So many of us live in a constant state of “not now.”
We keep it together. We stay productive. We behave.
But Valentine’s Eve has a way of tapping the glass.
Do you regularly catch yourself.....
- scrolling social media or binge watchign late into the night because you are too tired to feel.
- snapping at the people you love then feeling ashamed
- Noticing a real internal shift after the holidays or new year—and then finding yourself returning to familiar habits like numbing, overworking, or over-giving
- forgetting what you like anymore
- laughing less, Crying less, wanting less—less intimacy, less sex, less touch.
- Waiting for the “right time” instead of listening to what you want now.
- Waking already exhausted, pouring coffee into a body that feels heavy and dull.
Often, it’s because your body is doing what it knows how to do when things start to stir.
These habits aren’t flaws to correct or urges to conquer.
They’re intelligent patterns—ways the nervous system keeps you oriented, safe, and in control when something new begins to wake up.
This evening isn’t about ripping those patterns away.
It’s about meeting them with curiosity, letting them soften on their own timeline—through sensation, writing, movement, and shared presence.
Think less self-improvement.
More foreplay.
A chance to flirt with what you want—without pressure, without promises, without blowing your life up.
Through reflective creative writing, choice-led movement that supports regulation and expansion, music, and shared witnessing, we’ll explore desire not as something to act on immediately—but as creative fuel. A signal from the body and imagination about what nourishes you, what’s missing, and what wants care.
Movement is approached as an embodied creative practice.
We work with what naturally arises—stillness, impulse, emotion, charge—meeting it with curiosity rather than force. Nothing is pushed open. Expression is invited only where it supports presence and integration.
The writing in this space is not about producing anything “good.”
It’s a way of listening and beign wittnessed —allowing images, words, and questions to surface without editing or outcome. Writing becomes a bridge between sensation and understanding, helping you hear what your body and dreams are already communicating.
And being seen in one another's expression of exactly where we are, because shame thrives in isolation and lived change requires relationship and witnessing to feel safe enough to become.
Together, writing and movement help restore access to creative energy—not as urgency or fantasy, but as something grounded, relational, and livable.
This evening is not about fixing anything.
Not about deciding your future.
Not about blowing your life up.
It’s about remembering that wanting does not have to be dangerous—and that desire, when met with care, can reconnect you to vitality, imagination, and possibility.
You don’t have to know what you want.
You just have to be willing to meet it.
