Join us for Creative Connections, a laid-back community event where artists come together to share their talents and enjoy an inspiring afternoon! Meet creatives in metro-Atlanta, experience captivating performances, and let your imagination flow—don’t forget to bring along your favorite tools (notebooks, pens, crafts, etc.) for some fun activities after the main event!
What’s the Vibe?
- Community: Build connections, network, and make new friends.

Feature Performances Include:
Cynthia Giles: Cynthia graced the stage as a spoken word poet at Carnegie Hall and the Fox Theatre and she is the host of Creative Connections! She coaches individuals in public speaking, spoken word poetry, and stage presence.
Marquise Jenkins: Marquise is an Atlanta-based artist known for his dynamic storytelling across music, acting, and poetry.
Sha Huang: Sha is an associate professor and a bilingual poet whose published more than 60 poems in the U.S., Europe and China.
Muhammad Khaerisman: Muhammad is an actor, poet, MC, and host of the Faces Talk Show! He is multi-talented with gifts in fashion design and visual arts.
Liz Rodgers: Liz is an actor, writer, and all around creative. She trained at the Springer Opera House, Savannah College of Art and Design, and with the Professional Actors Studio. Liz will lead our collaboration time!
Uddipana Goswami: Uddipana is a writer and feminist peace researcher, currently teaching at the School of Conflict Management, Peacebuilding and Development at Kennesaw State University. She publishes widely in the fields of conflict, peace, ethnicity, & more. She's worked with multinational groups, including the National Geographic Channel.
