About this Event

Calling Planet Earth! Join the space race as young coders create mini-satellites and discover how technology helps our world. Make and program a model satellite using a BBC micro:bit and MakeCode. Work out how to adjust and keep your satellite in position and on course, or harness the power of the sun. See how it sends data back to scientists on Earth, or how we receive mobile phone messages or use GPS for directions.

Suitable for ages 9-12

Children must be accompanied by an adult during the club and all our activities are designed for adults and children to work together. Led by our expert club leaders, try out bespoke activities designed to provide science-inspired fun challenges. There is a different theme each week so we and you are always learning something new!

90 minute club session for one child and accompanying adult

- Access to the woodland, Water Lab and outdoor areas from 10am–5pm (last entry 4.30pm)

- Parking (limited availability)
