About the Workshop

This hands-on workshop guides participants through the making of an 16-page zine covering brainstorming, collage, folding, and sharing. The emphasis is on rapid creation and low-stakes self-expression, with the making process itself as the point. The theme for this edition is DREAMS.

We invite individuals who may not typically access formal arts training - emerging creatives, professionals from non-arts fields, and curious participants seeking new modes of expression. The session creates a collaborative, low-pressure environment where process is valued above polish, and every person leaves with something made entirely by hand.
Participants

Maximum 15 participants

Open to all, no prior arts experience needed.

Each participant contributes one A6 page to a single collaborative zine, made together on two A3 sheets.

How It Works

One A3 sheet holds 8 A6 pages. Participants create individual contributions that are arranged on a single A3 sheet, then folded and stitched to make a complete 16-page zine.

Each of the 15 participants contributes one spread to the collective publication.

About the Facilitator

Blanca Regina is an artist, designer, educator and independent curator based in London, known for her spontaneous and real-time approach across time-based media art, projection mapping, light art, installation art, sound, film, and book arts. Working with voice, objects, and electronics, she develops live composition systems in which image, light, and sound converge in the moment. Her time-based media expertise has been commissioned by the Whitney Museum NY and the Natural History Museum London, with audiovisual designs presented at the Southbank and the Royal Albert Hall.

Her print practice is rooted in years of engagement with the London Centre for Book Arts, where she developed artist books, letterpress, linocuts, marbling, and risograph as forms of self-publishing and artistic research. A formative period in Mexico — beginning with her first solo show in Oaxaca in 2016, encompassing screenprint, large-scale monotypes, sculpture, and projection mapping — deepened her relationship to printmaking. She worked across studios including El Ojo Peludo, Antonio Gritón, and Ajolote Gráfica, and returned in 2025 to the Instituto de Artes Gráficas de Oaxaca to deliver a paper marbling workshop. Plants, nature, and the observation of living systems have long threaded through this work.

As a collaborative artist and audiovisual performer, her partners have included Matt Black (Coldcut), Leafcutter John, Peter Cusack, Laetitia Sadier (Stereolab / ISIDORA), Mandhira de Saram, and Steve Beresford. She is Director of Unpredictable Series CIC, an artist-led platform for experimental sound and visual art presenting events at Café OTO and Iklectik, and is a member of LAC, the interdisciplinary collective at Cruce Arte Contemporáneo, Madrid.

She holds a PhD cum laude in Audiovisual Performance Art and is Senior Lecturer in Design at Ravensbourne University, London. She has delivered lectures and workshops at Goldsmiths, Westminster, UAL, the Roundhouse, and internationally at institutions in Madrid, Mexico City, and Puerto Rico. Her work has been supported by Arts Council England, the British Council, Sound & Music, and the Francis Chagrin Award.
