Free, supportive course to get creative and share ideas on building your self-esteem and wellbeing through making and art.Learning outcomes include:
Learners can describe how the course is structured to support confidence through craft in a group setting
Learners will list and demonstrate positive confidence tools through arts and crafts that they further develop beyond the course
Learners will develop crafting skills to create different crafts, sometimes building over several weeks to transfer into daily lives once course has ended
Learners will increase levels of self-esteem and confidence for daily life through successful completion of craft and well-being activities
Learners will undertake and complete group and individual activities, building on collaboration skills and following instructions towards an end goal
The course will run – every Thursday – 7th November – 12th December 2024.
This course is open to eligible learners aged 19 years plus (in August ’24) with few or no qualifications
