About this Event

For Loughborough University students only

Spring is known as a time of growth and new beginnings. Join us for a relaxed zine-making workshop where you will be invited to reflect on these themes using collage and mixed media. ‘Zines’ (short for magazines) are DIY publications that give the maker freedom to express whatever they like. During this session you can expect to learn more about zines, their history, and to make your very own to take away with you.

This workshop is beginner-friendly and all materials are provided.

There is a suggested ticket price of £3 to cover the cost of materials, with a 'Pay What You Can' option.

About Create & Connect

Create and Connect is a series of monthly creative workshops open to all students, taking place in the Library on the second Tuesday of the month. Each session is a one-off and must be booked in advance. They are a chance to meet new people, learn new skills and make something to take away.

Accessibility

There is step free access into the building and Seminar Room One is located on the entry level floor. There are accessible toilets nearby.
