16 To 21 Year Old Artists

Have you got Procreate and/or Procreate Dreams and would like to know how to create your own animations?

This one off session at the Liverpool Central Library, will go though everything you need to get you started on your journey in digital animation.

We will cover:

Setting up your scene and your character

Use Layers and Groups to organise your illustrations

Brushes

Frame rates and timings

Keyframes (Procreate Dreams Only) or Animation Assist (Procreate)

Text and illustration 'boil' and how they can breathe life into your illustration.

This 'in person' session is the first in a series of workshops and is an introduction to help you find your way around an affordable animation app.

Requirements: iPad and pencil, Procreate and/or Procreate Dreams

About the Facilitator:

Mandy Lalley has been working in Film and Animation for over 20 years and now runs Space Hound.

Mandy recently worked on a project, and was inspired by a young person who was an incredible artist but didn't know where she could expand her talents into animation. Although Mandy has been filming, she saw the need for Liverpool Artists to have access to animation.
