Create a Fused Glass Cactus Pot

If you are like me and have questionable green fingers, why not come and make your very own succulent display, but in glass! No need to water, and will stun your friends family with a cute little display.

You can of course come along if you are great in with plants and share your gardening tips as well as topping up your plant collection with these little cactus too!

In this class I will teach you how to cut glass to create your cactus ready to fire in the kiln. Once you have your shapes we will then decorate the pieces to bring the cactus to life. We will also make a plant pot ready to display you newly made succulents once they are fired. There will be time to design your own cactus plants, or you can use my templates that will be available to chose from. We will be making your pots from concrete, in keeping with the latest trend for cactus and fun to make!

This is an all day workshop. The fee Includes a selection of green glass, lots of little pieces to create your cactus’ prickly surfaces, the materials for your pot and tea, coffee and biscuits. There will be time for you to wander into town for some lunch - I can recommend my favourite cafe, or you are welcome to bring a packed lunch to eat in the studio.
