Cranhill Park Placemaking Session (evening)
About this Event
Glasgow City Council has committed to look into developing the infrastructure of Cranhill Park.
At the Community Placemaking session we are looking to capture the needs, priorities, and aspirations of the community for the park. This local knowledge and input will be used to develop ideas for Cranhill Park.
The workshops will include community discussions about the park, how the park is used and changes that could be made to the park.
We will start with a presentation about the park, we will then go our in to the park to look around and then come back and discuss how we would like to see the park develop.
The session is 3 hours long and if possible, we would welcome attendees being available for the whole session but appreciate this might be possible so if you don’t think you can make the whole session please book a place and come along and share your thoughts
The workshop is free to attend but numbers are limited, we'd love you to come but please only book a space if you plan to attend. When registrations are full you will be able to add your name to a waiting list and we will contact you if another workshop is scheduled or a place becomes available.
Comfort and safety at the workshop
. We will walk around the park in small, facilitated groups with a staff member in each group. It's in September so there is the potential for cold and wet weather and we kindly ask that people dress appropriately with suitable footwear.
If you would like to participate but don't feel comfortable walking around the park please let us know in the registration process. We will try to accommodate your needs and allow you to contribute your views.
If you would like to attend the workshop but circumstances make it difficult for you to attend such as transport, child care then please contact us to discuss this further.
