Crafty Chicks: Artisan Cheese & Charcuterie Board Workshop + Wine Pairing
About this Event
Start the Crafty Chicks 2026 season with an unforgettable evening of flavor, creativity, and Wisconsin pride. Taylor Reisimer, a seasoned cheese expert, charcuterie enthusiast, and the former 75th Alice in Dairyland, will lead you through crafting a stunning artisan cheese and charcuterie board. During her time as Wisconsin's official agricultural ambassador, Taylor traveled the state and beyond sharing the stories of our farmers and the exceptional quality of Wisconsin cheese. Now, she's bringing that passion and expertise straight to the Folk Song Farm barn.
You'll learn how to pair Wisconsin cheeses, choose complementary flavors, style your board beautifully, and build a party‑worthy centerpiece that will wow guests every time. Best of all, you'll leave with your very own completed charcuterie board to enjoy and recreate at home.
To elevate the evening even further, Lorelie Walters will guide guests through a curated wine‑pairing experience. As a Market Specialist for Ste. Michelle Wine Estates with Badger Liquor, Wine & Spirits, Lorelie has spent more than three decades exploring the world of wine and discovering the perfect harmony between wine and food. She brings a warm, approachable style to wine education—making pairings both exciting and accessible. At this special Cheese & Wine event, Lorelie will lead you on a flavorful journey, sharing stories, tips, and a few delightful surprises along the way.
Enjoy wine, or mocktails and light hors d’oeuvres as you mingle with friends, neighbors, and new faces. The evening begins at 6:30 and winds down around 8:00 p.m.—or whenever the laughter fades from the breathtaking Folk Song Farm barn.
