Craft Snippets is a way to learn about artisan crafts from enthusiasts and experts who love to share. This month we will hear from Amy Rickman who has a passion for textiles.
"When people ask me what I do I say that I am a dressmaker, however I am so much more. I make memory bears, cover furniture, make dance costumes and pro wrestling gear, alter and repair anything that comes my way and my guilty pleasure is a little bit (well a whole lot) of fabric hoarding. I adore anything sewing and sewing related and love sharing my knowledge with other like minded people."
Come along to hear Amy speak about her craft and after the talk we will look at craft books new to the library as well as chat about what is happening or coming up craft wise in and around Canterbury. We look forward to seeing you here.
