Craft Catch Up - November

Come along to the Top Floor for some crafting joy with fantastic fabrics, delicious snacks and a glass of wine. You can try out our seasonal make or bring along a project of your own - there are plenty of fabrics to inspire you along with expert guidance from tutor Alexandra. The sessions also offer a taster of our upcoming workshop themes, so if you've been thinking about joining us for a day course, here's a chance to find out what's in store.

This month we have a lovely project for you, beautiful bird lavender bags made from Lewis & Wood fabric scraps, ribbons and vintage buttons. If you'd like to add an extra decorative touch the birds can also be embroidered with simple yet effective stitches. They are so pretty and practical, once you've made one you'll want to make more and they are wonderful for gifts if you can bear to part with them! It's also a great way to use up any harvested lavender, so do feel free to bring along any you may have. Similarly, if you have a stash of buttons or ribbons you are welcome to use them if you'd like to add a more personal touch, but we will have plenty of everything available too.

Why not come along with friends (or make new ones on the night!) and immerse yourself in creativity, crafty chat and tempting refreshments - it's the ideal way to end the week.

Small remnants for projects are included in the ticket, plus lavender, ribbons and buttons. Further fabric remnants are available for an additional charge.
