About this Event
Take a pause from the noise of everyday life and join us for Craft & Connect - a gentle, welcoming evening designed to help you slow down, create, and feel more connected.
Hosted by Nesha’s Maambo’s Peer Mentor. Through simple, mindful activities like colouring, decorating paper lanterns, or creating a handmade greeting card, you’re invited to explore creativity without pressure or perfection.
You might choose to:
• Write a letter to your younger self
• Create something thoughtful for someone you care about
• Or simply enjoy the calming rhythm of making
These small, intentional moments can open space for reflection, ease, and genuine human connection.
✨ What makes this different?:
Maambo is a human-centred, peer-to-peer mental wellbeing platform. This event is more than just a craft session, it’s a space for real, meaningful connection. Maambo creates spaces where conversations feel natural, not forced.
You’ll be in a safe space with the option to connect with others, or simply enjoy your own quiet space.
What to expect:
• A relaxed, non-judgemental atmosphere
• Simple guided creative activities
• Opportunities for gentle conversation and connection
• A calm space to unwind and reset
- all materials and equipment provided.
Who it’s for:
• Anyone feeling a little overwhelmed, disconnected, or in need of a reset
• Those looking to meet others in a low-pressure, meaningful way
• Anyone curious about creativity as a tool for wellbeing
No artistic experience needed - just curiosity, kindness and willingness to create.
