Craft and Connect: Mend and Repair

Location: Pine Meadow Ranch Center for Arts & Agriculture

Join PMRCAA staff and community members for an afternoon of craft, conversation, and connection. Bring a small project and any materials you need to work alongside other community members and Artist in Residence, Vic Spindler-Fox.
We’ll have plenty of needles, thread, fabric, and a few fun tools to try out, plus support to help you tackle your mending pile or learn a new repair. Together we refuse disposability, support one another, and repair the world.

Coffee, Tea and Hot Chocolate will be provided.

Space is limited for this event and registration is required.

About the Artist:

(They/Them) – Pittsburgh, PA

Vic Spindler-Fox is a technologist & textile artist from East Tennessee, now making a home in the Rust Belt. They focus professionally on environmental field work, open-source software, and documentation. In their artistic life, they make reclaimed and mended textiles rooted in place, exploring mourning and memory, queerness, ghosts and failure.
