About this Event

This workshop includes 4 hours of online training through Infinitec and CPI platforms as well as 4 hours of in-person classroom-based training. The online training must be completed by the due date . The program will provide best practices and safe behavior management methods that focus on prevention. The core philosophy of CPI is providing for the care, welfare, safety, and security of everyone involved in a crisis situation. The program’s proven strategies give human service providers and educators the skills to safely and effectively respond to anxious, hostile, or violent behavior while balancing the responsibilities of care.

Anticipated Outcomes:

  1. Participants will learn to organize their thinking about how behavior escalates and how to respond appropriately during moments of chaos.
  2. Participants will learn how to safely use specific techniques and restraints in order to keep everyone involved safe during moments of chaos.
  3. Participants will understand the core philosophy of CPI is providing care, welfare, safety, and security of everyone involved in a crisis situation.

D istrict will be invoiced $75 per participant.
