Join me to learn how to crochet a classic lacy shawl, just like Grandma's! This project is perfect for cozy winter months and the finished shawl will make a great gift! This is a 3-hour crochet workshop where you will learn how to crochet a classic lacy shawl using Granny blocks and the German shells technique! Since it's a longer workshop, I'll have hot coffee and cozy snacks to share!
This project is good for beginners, but to get the most out of it, participants should feel comfortable crocheting in rows and performing single crochet, double crochet, and slip stitches. If you can do this, you can make this shawl!
To start this project, all you will need is one skein of yarn and a hook of your choice. You will receive an email following your registration with recommendations!
At the workshop, I will provide:
The shawl pattern
Scissors
Cozy snacks and beverages
All the creative support you need along the way!
The shawl is meant to be a large, full-body wrap, so it is likely that you will not finish it in 3 hours. But you will have access to the pattern both during and after the workshop. Once you finish the first set of instructions, you can easily repeat it at home to achieve the right size for you!
