Cozy Stitches: A Winter Quilting Retreat - February 17-20, 2026

Join us for Cozy Stitches: A Winter Quilting Retreat, where we’ll spend four days stitching together warmth and creativity! Escape the winter chill in a welcoming environment filled with laughter, inspiration, and community. Whether you’re a seasoned quilter or just beginning, come enjoy relaxing days of sewing, learning new techniques, and sharing stories with fellow quilting enthusiasts. Bring a friend or family member, and leave with cozy new projects, cherished memories, and the joy of handmade creations to keep you warm all season long!

Don’t forget to bring projects to work on, as we love seeing what everyone is creating. There’s plenty of time for open sewing, the perfect opportunity to tackle those UFOs (unfinished objects)! Plus, our Thursday night Show & Tell is always a highlight of the week. While participation is optional, it’s a great chance to share something special you’ve made, either before or during the retreat. The stories behind these creations always bring out all the warm and fuzzy feelings.

In addition to hours of sewing, you’ll enjoy lots of fellowship, fun, and of course, shopping. Whether you need a break or want to browse, Missouri Star’s 13 quilt shops have you covered!

Projects will be announced and supply lists provided as soon as we are able.

What to Expect From Us:

Sleeping Rooms - We have 10 rooms upstairs that are shared - there are no private rooms available and a chair lift is available for assistance. There are two ADA rooms available upon request.

Meals - Lunches will no longer be served during our regular retreats.  A “light” dinner will be served on Monday evening, for those guests who opt in for Early Bird Arrival.  Early Bird Arrival also entitles our guests to Tuesday morning continental breakfast.  Dinner will be served as well on Tuesday evening.  A continental breakfast and dinner will be served on Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday morning, enjoy a hot "farewell" breakfast before you check out and get on the road! 

Sewing Table Seating - We do have assigned seating for the well-lit 4' sewing tables (personal sewing lamps are optional). If you are traveling with a friend or friends and would like to sit together - no problem! Please just indicate this on your registration form with the names of the people you wish to sit by. We also provide cutting/ironing tables, and power strips and small side tables.

Sewing Machines - Feel free to bring your own machine (and all cords!).

• Alternatively, reserve one of our machines for the duration of your stay, free of charge.
• If you need a rental machine, please indicate this on your registration form

We know things happen, but if for some reason you need to cancel after you have booked your reservation, please let us know as soon as possible. The retreat is only fully refundable 60 days in advance of the start date. In the event that you are past the 60-day notice and are unable to attend, you may transfer your reservation to someone else or move to another retreat at a later date.
