The South Bank's County Hall, once the home of local government in London now a culture centre in the heart of the city, reveals its layered past through a guided walk tracing its evolution from a centre of London governance to a vibrant and forward-thinking cultural space.
Over 45 minutes, the route moves through the building’s surroundings along from Westminster Bridge, uncovering overlooked details and moments of transformation. In keeping with the Seeds of Change theme of growth, the tour reflects how places, like ideas, grow, evolve and take on new significance.
