About this Event
Look up and explore the sky! Participants will learn how to observe, identify, and count clouds, while discovering what they can tell us about the weather. Using the GLOBE Observer app, we will collect real time data and contribute to real NASA science!
Please dress accordingly for the weather, and be prepared to walk for the duration of the program. Bring a jacket, closed toe hiking shoes, and a water bottle. We recommend pre-downloading the free GLOBE Observer app to your phone prior to attending the event.
No admission fees for this program. $8 vehicle fee in effect. Each person in your party needs a ticket. Reservations are required for all programs. Space is limited. If you are unable to keep your reservation, please cancel so others may have the opportunity to attend. Please try to arrive at least 15 minutes early. We will meet at the Environmental Education and Resiliency Center in Field 1 of Hempstead Lake State Park.
