Learn to identify major pollinators, get tips on planting a pollinator garden, and contribute as a citizen scientist to this regional study!
Co-Presented by UF/IFAS Monroe County Extension and the Marathon Garden Club.
This free workshop includes a presentation about pollinators and pollinator gardens, and time in the garden to conduct your own pollinator count. Bring a thermos with a cold drink since we will spend a little time outdoors in the garden!

Highlights:
- Participants will learn to identify many of the major pollinators.
- Participants will conduct a pollinator count in the lovely garden at the Marathon Garden Club. Master and experienced gardeners will be available to answer questions.
- Participants will contribute through citizen science as they submit their findings to the Great SE Pollinator Census.
