Counseling Clients with a Grief and Loss Narrative

This training will provide a comprehensive overview of grief and bereavement theories, focusing on the physical and psychosocial effects of loss on individuals and family systems. Participants will explore key factors influencing adaptive and complicated grief responses and learn to identify signs of complicated grief. The training will also cover evidence-based interventions designed to improve clinical outcomes for grieving clients. Attendees will gain practical strategies to help clients transition from fight, flight, or freeze.
