Cosy Season Creative Writing Workshop
About this Event
Maybe you're a big reader, love the written word or enjoy character dissection at your book club (over drinks) but haven't put pen to paper yourself... OR maybe you're a writer who needs to shake up their process, relinquish control and need could use a relaxed, supportive environment to experiment?
As we move into the 'Ber months, its a great time to tap into our creativity and embrace the changes of the season.
Morgan-Drew Glasgow of Secondhand Rhiannon Theatre Co. is a playwright, actor, book work and prose & poetry lover. This workshop is designed to quiet your inner critic, encourage critical thinking, and reveal thoughts and ideas surrounding creative writing that you didn't know you had.
With focus on the process & not the result, we'll work with various prompts and stimuli to discover our inner Virgina Woolfe, Sarah J. Mass or Carrie Bradshaw - Choose your fighter.
*Please note that there will be no reading work allowed required although we will have discussions surrounding the stimilus, ideas or process. No pressure to speak but as long as you're happy to be in a chatty environment.
Come from 6.15pm for a cuppa and a shop in Good Days - this is a great excuse to treat yourself to a new notebook/pen combo.
