Cosmic Songwriter, Inc is an Indiana Non-Profit Organization founded in 2021 by Shaun McDermott and Pablo ‘Oso’ Fuentes to foster an ecosystem and community focused on songwriting in Bloomington, Indiana.The Cosmic format normally pairs two acts (solo or duo) on stage. Performers alternate back and forth, bantering and sharing the stories behind their songs.
As songwriters, Shaun and Oso revere the tradition of sharing stories through song. They have played in many writers-in-the-round events, and have seen the magic that can happen when multiple performers share the stage, as well as their songs and stories.
“When we started Cosmic Songwriter, we wanted to facilitate cosmic connections between artists. On our stage, unique moments happen because of the chemistry between two performers. We love the moments that happen because of this, and we think you will too.”
