SOUP: Sounds of Underground Plymouth đ„ŁJoin the mix every Saturday night at SOUP, where our residents & guest deejays spin everything from house & disco, to acid, techno, garage, breaks & more. The emphasis is on quality & connection, nurturing our local electronic music loving community. Set in a stunning former 19th-century church, youâll be surrounded by high-beam ceilings & beautiful stained glass windows whilst creating an intimate atmosphere.
For this edition we welcome back Josheep and Jentangles for another evening of 'âConsiderâ a musical happening hitting that sweet spot between techno & house, whilst rubbing up against the boundaries of both. Think industrial techno noises to a steady, dubby groove filtered through the 'considered' choices of the residents... And this time we look forward to finally welcoming EXTRA SPECIAL GUEST SWAYEE for her Cosmic Debut!Â
SWAYEE
Swayee is the deep tech & house alias of DJ Andromeda. She has a long history of DJing (1997) & has played at countless events & festivals over the years. Beatz & Bobz, JameTheChannel, Dark Knights, Magic Hatstand, Quirk, Junction, Gobbstopper, Glastonbury Festival, Beautiful Days, Aeon, Eos, Immunity, Forbidden Garden Party & many more.
She runs a night in Exeter called HOUSEWARMING, @housewarminguk, with a selection of carefully handpicked DJs that she has worked with over the years & also showcasing talented guest DJs.
Her sets are influenced by the deeper, techier sides of House music with an emphasis on beats that captivate the dancefloor. Her influence of 2-Step can sometimes be heard.
Whether youâre a seasoned raver or new to the scene, come feel the music!
