New Year. Lots to doom and gloom about. Lots to rally against. Lots of reasons to gather, raise some dust, shake off the rust, bang a gong, get it on, and get on with it. Lots of reasons to light our fires and shake our sticks. It's January, we're just getting started. Yup, it's a cold world right now. But we can gang together and warm things up. We won't just sing, we'll zing! And, in case you haven't noticed, the days are getting lighter.Mark Rodford won't be here for this one, but Mary "Crankin" Rankin will be co-hosting with me. That will be a joy in itself.
So please come down to the Cornerstone on Sun January 19th. Come to sing, to play, or come for the company. Raise your glasses, raise your voices, rosin your bows, squeeze your boxes, get some air flowing through your reeds, strum, pick, honk, and thrum!

It's all acoustic. No amps, no PAs, no microphones. We just light a tray of tea candles in the middle of the room (that's our campfire). And then we sit around the fire and sing the night away. Please bring your voices, your guitars, your horns, your harmonicas, your banjos, your mandolins, your fiddles, your bagpipes!, your saws!, your accordions, your whistles, your ukuleles, and your appetite and appreciation of others.
