Copy of INTRO TO PYRO: Pyrography / Woodburning Workshop for Beginners

Join me on a journey into the exciting world of Pyrography... where nature and creativity fuse together in this ancient form of art! Pyrography translates as "writing with fire" and during this workshop we will be embracing our inner pyro. We'll be using professional machines with changeable wire tips to create unique pieces of art. You'll learn how to safely use the machines and burn wood beginning with practising outlining, shading and dot work techniques. We'll then move on to how to draw / transfer designs onto the wood before burning your own special pieces to take home. Don't worry if you are not "artistic", no drawing skill is required and I will have a variety of designs available for you to choose from.

This workshop is open to those 12 years and above

All materials and use of professional tools provided.

Please arrive by 10:45 so we can all meet and enjoy a cuppa and a chat before we settle in. Teas, coffee and treats provided.

The workshop runs from 11:00 - 12:00, then we take a 30 minute lunch break. We resume at 12:30 and finish at 3:30pm (with tea / coffee break in between)

Please bring your openess, smiles, joy and laughter along with a packed lunch (or be sure to pre-order from "The Cafe" to be ready for noon)
