Cooking Class: Italian Summer Dinner
Celebrate the flavors of an Italian summer in this relaxed, hands-on cooking class. Together we’ll start by preparing a classic marinara sauce from scratch, learning the simple techniques that bring out the best in tomatoes, garlic, and olive oil.
We’ll then use that sauce to create Melanzane alla Parmigiana, layering tender roasted eggplant with marinara, mozzarella, and Parmigiano Reggiano for one of Italy’s most comforting and beloved dishes.
To finish on a bright and refreshing note, we’ll make a watermelon sorbet, a light and naturally sweet dessert that perfectly captures the taste of summer.
Along the way you’ll pick up helpful tips, authentic Italian techniques, and enjoy a relaxed evening cooking, tasting, and sharing a beautiful Italian meal together.
