Making friends as adults shouldn't be this hard... so let's fix that.
I've been reading posts in our local community groups, and one thing keeps coming up over and over again.
Women are looking for connection.
Some are hoping to find someone to hike with. Others want a shopping buddy, someone to bake with, a crafting friend, a coffee date, or simply another woman who understands this season of life. Some have recently moved here. Some have lost loved ones. Some miss having "their people."
I've decided to do something about it.
Cookies with Kelly is a ladies-only gathering created to be a welcoming, judgment-free space where women can meet other women, make genuine connections, and build lasting friendships.
Somewhere between careers, raising kids, caring for parents, busy schedules, and everyday life, many of us realize our circle isn't quite what it used to be.
We all need people to laugh with, celebrate with, vent to, encourage us, and simply do life with.
Whether you're new to town, recently retired, an empty nester, a stay-at-home mom, or just looking to expand your circle, you are welcome here.
My hope is to create a place where women feel seen, encouraged, supported, and connected to their community. No cliques. No pressure. No expectations. Just kindness, conversation, cookies, and the chance to find your people.
