Our November theme is an exciting one, we want you to 'cook our books' and make a recipe of your choice 🌟🙂↕️ Michelle, Darren and Rhi are each now published cookbook authors, with Michelle's new book launching the same day as this club event. If you don't already have one of our books, you can purchase as follows:
'More Than Toast' by Rhiannon Baldock / available at morethantoast.co.nz or at Whitcoulls and other distributors, also available in Auckland libraries for hire
'Dazza's Cooked' by Darren Jarrett / available at ashbypies.co.nz or at Whitcoulls and other distributors
'Sweet Stuff' by Michelle Morfett (NEW) / available for preorder from Wednesday the 7th at michellemorfett.com and will be shipped early for cookbook club attendees (if you want to use it for cookbook club, message Michelle after the preorders and she will send them out a week early) you can also use her first ‘Mint Cakery’ cookbook.

PLEASE READ THE NOTES BELOW:
Make a recipe from a cookbook (please no magazines or digital recipes to maintain the club's spirit) that matches the specified theme, and bring it along with the recipe book you used to cook it. Come and enjoy a potluck-style social event with other food lovers!
If you're planning to attend, PLEASE READ:
🔸 RSVP if you're interested or attending so we can have an estimation of how many will be joining us.
🔸 Please bring a plate, serving utensil and cutlery with you!
🔸 Each individual attendee must bring a dish to keep it fair, so please make two dishes if attending as a couple or duo, etc.
🔸 As our club grows, we ask your meal or dish caters for at least 12 individual portions that can be cut/halved/spooned into small cups etc to make sure a chunk of your fellow attendees can try your dish.
All are welcome, and we can't wait to see you there! Auckland CBC will be held at the same time, on the first Sunday of every month.
