Adlai Waxman is a seasoned and accomplished musician - keyboardist, singer, lyricist, and composer. Originally from Toronto, he came to Vermont by way of Nashville, tendering his mastery at the keyboard and his vocal skills in performing session work in multiple genres. His 2012 EP Circumstance and Dreams EP spent two weeks on CD BABY’s Rock Americana chart. Adlai’s 2009 release “Down at Joe's” was nominated for a Just Plain Folks award (also known as the ‘grass roots Grammys’) for best male singer songwriter album 2009.
Patti Shannon provides a solid bass beat and lead/harmony vocals. She studied guitar performance at Berklee and continued her music studies at colleges wherever she landed in her travels.
She has played and toured with a variety of bands in the States, including Alaska and Guam, and overseas to ten-plus countries; toured with well-known oldies bands The Coasters, The Platters and The Fleetwoods; and has movie, television and radio performances under her belt, both as a musician and extra.
Patti’s songwriting has been recognized by industry professionals including a “Record (song) of the Year” award from the California Country Music Association and have been pitched to artists such as the (Dixie) Chicks, the Trio (Dolly, Emmylou, Linda) and Bonnie Raitt. They’ve been covered by other artists and placed in movies. Patti has released ten of her original songs on her album “Gone So Gone”.
As a trio, Cooie, Adlai & Patti combine their considerable talents and convey a spirit of musical adventure across multiple genres.
Instrumentally, Cooie’s steady rhythm guitar, Adlai's masterly keyboard accompaniment, and Patti’s bassline create the perfect foundation for their vocal stylings, incorporating tight three-part harmonies.
