A Retreat with the Dominican Friars

Join the Dominican Friars for a weekend retreat at the Malvern Retreat House’s Family Life Center, featuring conference talks given by the Friars on the theme of Conversion: The Journey to God, Eucharistic Adoration, Holy Mass on Saturday and Sunday, the opportunity for sacramental confession, and time for prayer and fellowship.

Fr. John Paul Kern, O.P., Fr. Joseph-Anthony Kress, O.P., and Fr. Christopher Daniel, O.P., will preach the retreat conferences and homilies.

Registration details:

Registration will close on Thursday, March 6th.

Retreat registration includes accommodations at the Family Life Center for the weekend as well as all meals (beginning with dinner on Friday night and ending with breakfast on Sunday). Towels and bedding are provided. Please plan to bring whatever personal toiletries you might need.

Unless they request otherwise, each retreatant will have a private bedroom and a private bathroom. 

For married retreatants attending as a couple, we will assign both spouses to a single room that contains a double bed as well as a twin bed.

You must be 18 years old or older to attend this retreat.

Transportation:

Parking is available at the Family Life Center for those who plan to drive to the retreat.

Additionally, the Family Life Center is a $10, 10-minute Uber or Lyft ride away from the Paoli train station, which is served by Amtrak and SEPTA Regional Rail.

Cancellations and Refunds:

Registration is non-transferable; only the person registered for the retreat can attend. We are able to offer a full refund, minus the Eventbrite fee, for any cancellations received before March 1st.

Last-minute illness: If you are feeling ill as the date of the retreat approaches, we ask that you please choose not to take part in this retreat. Please contact us as soon as possible so that we can attempt to invite someone else to attend in your place and offer you a refund.
