Welcome to Convergence of the Arts!
Convergence of the Arts 2026 aims to explore Men's mental health and how that juxtaposes with how masculinity is portrayed in nature. As more men are becoming aware and taking ownership of the fragility of their minds we want to share some of these expressions and thoughts in our art and poetry, in an effort to raise awareness and highlighting that there is strength even in the acknowledgement of fragility. For this project, the art forms include: Music, Mixed Art (Sculpture), Photography, Film & Glass Art.
Convergence of the Arts is a bi-annual poetry project, birthed from the desire to explore the synergy between poetry and other art forms. This project looks to explore how poetry can merge other art forms and disciplines to create pieces that allow for an immersive experience. The project also looks to explore how audiences engage with poetry when it’s set up in an exhibition format rather than oratory format. Finally this project was birthed out of a desire to collaborate with other creatives, elevate and bring exposure to their talents.
