Welcome - you found us.We warmly invite you to join us in the liminal space that is Contemplative Dance Practice (CDP).
With deep Buddhist roots sprouted at Naropa University in the 1970s, CDP provides a container to explore the merging of inner and outer worlds through meditation and improvised movement. CDP - as inspired by Trungpa Rinpoche's teachings and founded by Barbara Dilley, finds dance not simply as a form of artistic expression, but a means to cultivate awareness, presence, and connection—both to oneself and the environment.
Here, we're invitated to touch playfulness, presence, curiosity and possibility.
Every curious body and mover is welcome. No experience necessary.
The practice will be gently guided by Clare and Alex.
We begin at 7.15pm, arrival from 6.50pm. Please try and be on time 🌱
Contribution of $10-15 sliding scale. Cash or Bank Transfer available.
