Nicole has danced since she was three, but discovered her form in Contact Improvisation 10 years ago. She first encountered the form at Cecil Street Studios, the original home of Melbourne CI. After years of learning from teachers in Australia and abroad, she began teaching the Melbourne CI Saturday Classes, mentored by the local community. Alongside dance, she has worked as a personal trainer and health coach for 15 years, a background that continues to inform her understanding of movement. Last year, she was thrilled to study with first-generation dancer Nita Little.
Nicole is thrilled to be teaching in Castlemaine. She is excited to share the beauty of physical listening, the skill of sharing centers and the creative freedom that comes from working the principals of the form.
Beginners welcome.
