Contact Improvisation Immersion 'Beyond the Basics'
Lets go beyond the foundational basics of the practice of Contact Improvisation to explore some of the more nuanced elements to the dance.
Let's lab on flying and basing, investigate falling and trios. Let's do some tuning scores and some explorations in composition.
When: 11 AM - 3:30 PM, Saturday- August 8th
Where: North Fremantle Community Centre
Who: This is a workshop for those who feel established in the foundations of Contact Improvisational- confident sharing weight, moving into and out of the ground, listening.
Get in touch if you are interested in coming, but unsure if this workshop is right for you.
Cost: $90 ($80 Early-Bird)
This workshop has limited places.

Myla Rose is a Somatic Movement Educator, facilitator, and performer with over a decade of experience guiding others into deeper relationship with their bodies.
Certified through the School of Body-Mind Centering® and a member of ISMETA, her work bridges embodied anatomy with intuitive movement, offering clear and grounded pathways into the rich wisdom of the body.
Myla’s facilitation style is clear, direct, and responsive to individual and group processes.
Myla has been engaged in the practice of Contact Improvisation since 2012. Having trained with Nancy Stark Smith, Martin Keogh, Karen Nelson, Andrew Harwood, Emily Bowman, Joey Lehrer and others, C.I. forms a central pillar of her movement language and continues to inform her approach to facilitation.
