We are shining a spotlight on the Construction Sector and the wide range of career paths this thriving industry has to offer.
The Construction Showcase is not your typical job fair. It’s an interactive, employer‑led experience built around real people, real skills, and real jobs.
Delivered in partnership with Jobcentre Plus, Tower Hamlets WorkPath is bringing together employers from across the sector to offer something traditional job fairs just don't - a genuine feel for what it’s like to work in construction.
You’ll be able to try hands‑on activities from a variety of trades, guided by the professionals who do the job every day. Ask questions, test your skills, and explore activities from Electrical, Plumbing, Paving, Drylining, Brickwork, and more.
Construction isn’t just about tools on site. We’ll also have representatives from Planning, Design, Development, Project Management, Administration, Tech and others, ready to talk about the many routes into the industry.
Alongside live vacancies from major developers and contractors working in the borough, you can attend talks on careers, personal experiences, and practical advice for anyone looking to break into construction.
Training providers and colleges will also be on hand, offering pathways from entry‑level courses to degree‑level study and apprenticeships.
Whether you’re exploring your options or ready to take your next step, this event gives you the chance to discover the real opportunities waiting for you in construction.
