A free panel discussion exploring consent, relationships, and disabled people’s rights and experiences.About this Event
Disabled people are too often left out of conversations about sex, relationships, and consent, or spoken about without being included.
Consent and Disability: Why Inclusive Sex Education Matters will bring together disabled speakers, activists and educators to explore:
- What consent really looks like in disabled people’s lives
- How power dynamics, support needs, and access barriers shape our relationships
- The impact of stigma and assumptions
- What disabled people need to feel safe, respected and empowered
More details and speakers to be announced soon. We particularly welcome disabled people of all backgrounds to attend the panel. Come join us for a chat!
This panel is part of , Pillow Talk Scotland and Three Sisters Consultancy’s 6-week sex and relationships course for disabled adults starting in January 2026. Recruitment for the course is open until 4 January, and we’ll share more information at the event for anyone interested in taking part.
