As women we often feel unsafe in our sensual and sexual expression. Afraid that it might be seen as an invitation or that it will be used against us. The truth is that when a woman is connected to these parts of herself, she is immensely powerful.

When you think of a lap dance, you might think of a strip club where men seem to have the power and women are dancing for their pleasure. This workshop aims to redefine the dynamics of a lap dance where the dancer dances for his or her own pleasure while the receiver holds space for their process. Together we explore the qualities that support or diminish your sensual expression. The goal is not to seduce the receiver - though whenever you are fully dropped in, this becomes inevitable.

This is a Tantra inspired event. The dynamics of a lap dance offer a perfect representation of the eternal love story between Shiva (divine masculine) and Shakti (the divine feminine). In this workshop we will play with masculine and feminine energy - exploring their qualities and how they interact and fuel one another. You’ll be invited to embody both.

This is not a dance class where you learn steps. You are always invited to follow your own flow, exploring your unique expression. Become a more fully and expressed version of yourself and discover yourself through the art of lap dance

What to expect

• Introduction & sharing
• Warm up exercises to connect with the group, to land in your body and to gradually prepare you for the lapdance
• Playful boundary exercise
• Exploration of feminine and masculine qualities
• Lap dance experience
• Reflection on what supports and diminishes your sensual expression

What to bring

• Wear anything that you feel comfortable, sensual and confident in; maybe something that feels nice on your skin, something that allows you ro move easily, or- it can also be something sexy. If you are unsure what to wear, you can simply bring the outfit you are unsure of and slip into it whenever it feels right.
