CONNOR ROFF / SIESKI on The Tapworks Rooftop
SIESKI
https://www.sieski.com
Caught between the body’s truth and the mind’s wonder, SIESKI is a queer alt-pop artist crafting music that feels sensory, intuitive, and spellbinding. Blending ethereal vocals, theatrical storytelling, and electronic textures, her work explores queer identity, womanhood, sensitivity, and self-expression through the colourful lens of “Pixie-pop.” EARMILK describes her music as “an auditory odyssey that heightens your senses and leaves you with an insatiable craving for more.”
A graduate of York University’s Acting Conservatory (BFA), SIESKI brings a multidisciplinary background in theatre, movement, and visual storytelling into her music and live performances. Since releasing her debut EP Dreamist in 2019, she has received support from FACTOR, CBC, CTV’s eTalk, Exclaim!, The Georgia Straight, and Women in Music, with her queer-femme anthem “Lady Deity” featured in the Vizzybility Project curated by Canada’s Drag Race winner, Priyanka.
Her upcoming debut album, Pixie, explores what happens when we stop shrinking ourselves, embracing sensitivity, whimsy, and emotionality not as weaknesses, but as sources of power, connection, and transformation.
