Horticap are delighted to have been invited by Libertas Professional Services to join the Connecting Finance Harrogate event on 22 July. Horticap is a specialist charity based in Harrogate that supports adults with learning disabilities. Around 60 students come to Horticap every week and our dedicated team of professionally trained and experienced staff and volunteers provide students with opportunities to learn new skills through horticultural training and supported work tasks. Our students engage in meaningful activities tailored to their interests and abilities, the impact of which results in increasing their knowledge, skills, confidence and overall wellbeing. Horticap also has a beautiful garden, nature trail, coffee shop and garden centre open to the public every day of the week. Our students are an integral part of what makes us special as they contribute every day to the success of the charity, and we are proud to work alongside them.
