Connected for Life: Why Relationships Matter as We Age
About this Event
What makes a good life?
“Good relationships keep us happier and healthier. Period.” Human connection matters. According to Robert Waldinger, director of the Harvard Study of Adult Development—an 80+ year investigation into well-being.
In this engaging and reflective workshop, we’ll explore the growing loneliness epidemic and how it is quietly eroding our overall well-being, particularly as we age.
Together, we’ll identify common obstacles to meaningful connection, including how to navigate challenging interactions and life transitions that can make relationships more complex over time.
Participants will also discover practical ways to strengthen and sustain social bonds. Through a mix of discussion, experiential exercises, and exploration of community resources, you’ll gain tools to foster deeper, more supportive connections in your daily life.
