In this magnificent morning session, we’ll explore the powerful intersection of vigorous asana and Zen meditation. Practice is participation in our lives, holding ourselves steady, actively investigating our edges and meeting them with the breath. Connect to the grace within you through this sequence of postures crafted to strengthen, open and settle your body and being.
Together, we’ll hold steady in the present moment, actively investigating our physical and mental edges—not to push past them, but to meet them with curiosity, compassion, and grace.
As the body becomes more spacious and grounded, we’ll transition into seated meditation, allowing the movement to settle into stillness. This final practice invites integration and clarity, offering a chance to simply be—with whatever arises.

A Transformational Yin Yoga Experience with Deva Shantay
Elena Brower | Mother, mentor, poet, artist, volunteer, bestselling author and host of the Practice You Podcast, Elena Brower has taught yoga and meditation since 1999. After graduating Cornell University in 1992, she designed textiles and apparel for almost a decade before shifting her focus to yoga, meditation, art and writing. Her books, Art of Attention, Practice You, Being You and Softening Time walk us through stages of practice, life and listening. Elena's Perceptive Parenting audio course is a key resource for parents; her yoga practices and meditations are featured on Glo. She works to elevate bright futures for girls, women and children through her support for Girls on Fire Leaders, On The Inside and Free Food Kitchen. She received the Buddhist Precepts from Roshi Joan Halifax in 2023 and is now a candidate for Chaplaincy.
