Connect and Climb

Our event combines the benefits of light physical activity with the opportunity to meet and interact with fellow entrepreneurs. We plan to meet at Carpark and make our way to the top of Divis Mountain, you’ll have the chance to exchange ideas, share experiences and build valuable relationships in a relaxed and informal setting.

Recent research finds that the act of walking leads to increases in creative thinking. This certainly supports the usefulness of walking meetings. Plenty of anecdotal evidence also suggests that walking meetings lead to more honest exchanges with associates and connections and are more productive than traditional sit-down meetings.

At the end of the walk we will gather in the Standing Stone Lodge for tea/coffee and a tray bake!*

Whilst our Connect & Climb is at a slow to medium pace, it is important to note that everyone taking part do so at their own risk. You should assess your own level of fitness and health before booking. There are no official first aiders at the event. Antrim Enterprise will not be held responsible for any accident, injury or loss occurring as a result of any Connect & Climb events.

On booking, attendees are required to notify Antrim Enterprise that they are content for dogs to be there; if even one person has a fear, no dogs, no matter how behaved are allowed. Otherwise dogs are welcome with their owners. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all time and under the control of their owners.

All walkers should ensure they wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the walk and weather.

We will meet at the Black Mountain Carpark, further information will be emailed to all pre-registered attendees 24 hours before the event starts.
