Forestry England general event terms and conditions apply. In addition
• Pre-booking is essential.
• Dogs are not permitted on guided walks (except assistance dogs).
• Car parking is not included unless you are a Forestry England member.
• Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the advertised start time.
• All walks are for ages 12+ with adult supervision, except for the Family Map Stick Walk which is for adults and children aged 3+. Maximum 3 children per adult.
• Dress for the weather with sturdy footwear, as walks are outside and do not always stay on paths.
• A survey will be sent to you after the event. You do not have to complete the survey, but doing so will help us when planning for future events.
Walk Information: Approximately 1.5 hours duration and 2.4 kilometres (1.5 miles) distance.
Ticket Price: All guided walks are £7 per person, excluding the Curator-led guided walk which is £15 per person.
Where to meet: Meet in the atrium at the Visitor Centre 10 mins before the start of the walk
Accessibility: Guided walks are mostly on hard-standing stone paths. However, some leave the main path and incorporate grassy and uneven terrain. To check a walk's suitability, email [email protected] or call 0300 068 0400.
