A community celebration of music, poetry & connectionJoin us for an afternoon of global music, dance, singing and poetry in a warm, accepting space. We will be focusing on how we should sing and dance and recite as part of our welcome to all driven from their homelands through war, climate crisis and imposed deprivation. We will celebrate the idea of sanctuary.
In these times of so much media induced frenzy against all that makes us human - compassion, love and understanding - we are joining Oxford's celebrations of Sanctuary
Try out new work, share old favourites, or just listen. Come as you are.
A café will be available, offering drinks on a voluntary contribution basis (give what you can). If possible, we also invite participants to bring snacks to share.
Come along and be part of this celebration of community.
