Confessions explores what we reveal, what we conceal, and the weight of everything we carry. Through works that navigate the tension between personal affects and societal realities, the exhibition asks viewers to recognize the secrets that are deeply connected to objects, attachments, and thoughts we hold close.
Here, Confessions becomes a release from the accumulation of these hidden narratives, inviting us to consider how intimate stories reflect larger shared experiences—and how an abundance of objects, or lack thereof, can act as quiet declarations of who we are.
This exhibition ultimately asks: What do our possessions, our omissions, and our private truths reveal about the world we inhabit—and what emerges when these revelations are finally confessed?
Opening Reception Details
The public is warmly invited to attend the Opening Reception for Confessions on Friday, May 1, from 5–7 PM. This free, all-ages event offers guests the opportunity to experience the exhibition for the first time, engage with the themes of the work, and enjoy an evening of art and community within the gallery.
