We are thrilled to announce that Benetech Bookshare will be attending Conclave 2.0: Building Foundations for Inclusive Higher Education, hosted by the Office of Learning Support at Ashoka University!Join us on Friday, 27th September 2024, at the India Habitat Center (Jacaranda Hall), New Delhi, India.
We at Benetech Bookshare are honoured as the partner presenter for the Idea Lab, scheduled from 13:30 PM to 14:30 PM. The Benetech Bookshare team will be sharing their insights during this session.
This important event, taking place one year after the inaugural Conclave, will continue the vital conversation on the future of disability inclusion in higher education in India. The discussions will focus on key themes such as:
Addressing policy gaps in inclusive higher education
Building support structures and reasonable accommodation frameworks at HEIs
Strengthening accessible library systems and educational content accessibility
Facilitating access to assistive technology for students in higher education
Empowering faculty to become agents of inclusive teaching
