PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) has been working as a catalyst for the promotion of Indian industry trade and entrepreneurship for the past 119 years. It is a forward looking proactive and dynamic PAN-India apex organization. As a partner in progress with industry and government PHDCCI works at the grassroots level with strong national and international linkages for propelling progress harmony and integrated development of the Indian economy.
PHDCCI acting as the “Voice of Industry & Trade” reaching out to more than 150000 large medium and small industries has forged ahead leveraging its legacy with the industry knowledge across multiple sectors to take Indian Economy to the next level.
At the global level we have been working with the Embassies and High Commissions in India and overseas to bring in the International Best Practices and Business Opportunities.
As we progress on our journey to support the industry in addressing global business challenges PHDCCI has constituted 65 industry verticals such as Agriculture Automobiles Banking & Finance Corporate Affairs Education Gas Healthcare IT Labour Reforms Oil & Power Real Estate Telecom to mention a few. The main objective being deliberations on key trends and issues that can shape the policy environment through timely Government mediation.

INTRODUCTION
Cooperatives have played a vital role in India making significant contributions to important areas like food security poverty reduction and the responsible management of our natural resources and environment. These cooperative efforts are also pivotal in advancing sustainable development and ensuring that no one is left behind.
Under the able leadership of our Prime Minister for bringing the shared vision of 'Sahkar se Samriddhi' (Prosperity through Cooperation) the Government of India has established the Ministry of Co-operation. This ministry has the power to bring about transformation in the cooperative movement across the nation. By promoting digital inclusion and embracing social livelihood and financial inclusion we can drive fundamental changes in our economy and commit to a progressive future. However we must remember that these goals can only be achieved when our cooperative movement in India is strong and flourishing.
This Summit aims to provide a platform for cooperative leaders members and stakeholders to gain insights into best practices innovation and strategies that contribute to the success of cooperative enterprises. Cooperatives in India have made profound contributions in food security poverty alleviation and management of natural resources and the environment. They are also significantly contributing to sustainable development and social inclusion.
